“稳”、“我和我的祖国”当选2019年度国内字词
国家语言资源监测研究中心（the Chinese National Language Monitoring and Research Center ）、商务印书馆（the Commercial Press）等联合主办的“汉语盘点2019”揭晓仪式12月20日举行。
The Chinese character “wen,” meaning stability, has been chosen by Chinese netizens as the character of the year for 2019, and “me and my motherland” as the phrase of the year.“稳”、“我和我的祖国”分别当选年度国内字、国内词。
The character “nan,” or difficulty and the phrase “trade friction” were chosen as representatives of international affairs.
“难”、“贸易摩擦”分别当选年度国际字、国际词。
“汉语盘点”活动至今已举办十四年，旨在“用一个字、一个词描述当年的中国与世界”，鼓励全民用语言记录生活，描述中国视野下的社会变迁和世界万象。
The winners were chosen through an online poll featuring thousands of candidates recommended by internet users.
